Create a little holiday magic with us at our Holiday Glow Candle Workshop taught by Haila (Chelsey) — the maker behind Haila.

In this cozy, hands-on class, you’ll pour your very own 12oz soy candle, blending your favorite warm, holiday-inspired scents into a one-of-a-kind creation.

✨ Make it yours — decorate your candle with dried florals (included) and add healing crystals for an extra touch of sparkle (available at an additional cost).

Whether you keep your candle to light up your home or gift it to someone special, this workshop is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with creativity, relaxation, and a beautiful glow.

💌 About Haila (Chelsey)

What started as a small maternity-leave project turned into a heartfelt business inspired by a mother’s love and a passion for clean, natural living.

After discovering how harmful paraffin and synthetic fragrances can be, Chelsey began crafting hand-poured soy candles made with pure essential oils — and later began embedding large, unique crystals that make each candle a piece of art, often described as “too beautiful to burn.”

Her journey has allowed her to support causes close to her heart, including Starfish Pack Program, the Nazarene Fund, Hungry For Life, and hurricane relief efforts — all while spending more time with her two daughters.

**This class does involve working with a variety of scented oils. At certain points — especially when multiple participants are pouring and blending — the aromas in the room may feel a bit strong to those sensitive to scents. Windows will be opened as possible for comfort**

❓ Workshop FAQ

Where is the class located?
Inside the Ag-Rec Centre in "The Gallery" on the second floor. The class is accessible via elevator or stairs. 

How do I check in?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early and show your digital or printed ticket at check-in and provide you with a wristband to gain access to the rest of the very merry mango market event.

Are tickets refundable?
All sales are final and non-refundable, but tickets can be gifted to another participant. If for some reason the class has to be cancelled, you will be issued a refund.

Do I need to bring anything?
Everything is provided — just bring your creativity and holiday spirit!

Does my ticket include market admission?
Yes! Your ticket includes admission to the Very Merry Mango Market for the day.
