Using real flowers grown and pressed locally, you’ll design and create your own 8”x10” framed artwork — no experience needed. Whether you follow a guided design or create something uniquely your own, this workshop is all about enjoying the process and creating something meaningful.

Perfect for a girls’ day out, a solo creative escape, or a special memory with someone you love.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create your own pressed flower artwork in an 8”x10” frame
• Learn the basics of flower pressing so you can continue at home
• Follow step-by-step guidance or design freely

• A curated selection of pressed flowers
• All tools & materials (art paper, tweezers, glue, paintbrush, float frame)
• Your finished 8”x10” framed artwork
• Guided instruction throughout the workshop

• Limited spots available as workshops are intentionally kept small

GOOD TO KNOW

• You’ll select your design in advance from 3 options sent to you 1 week prior to the workshop. Those who don’t select in advance will choose from the remaining options on the day of.
• Your artwork will need time to dry — you’re welcome to explore the market and return to finish framing before you leave
• Artwork shown reflects the style and possibilities of this workshop. Final designs and flower selections may vary, allowing each piece to be uniquely yours
• If you’d like extra time, you can take home tools to complete your piece

Lynne of Flowers to Frame creates pressed flower artwork using blooms grown and carefully preserved in her Abbotsford garden and studio.

Inspired by nature, each piece is designed to bring a sense of calm and beauty into your home. Through this workshop, you’ll experience that same joy — creating something meaningful with your own hands.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

• Workshops take place inside the Made for Women at the Abbotsford Ag-Rec Centre in the Gallery on the second floor. Accessible via elevator or stairs.
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in using our VIP line to receive your wristband
• Check-in details will be included in your confirmation email
• Friendly Mango Market staff will be onsite to direct you
