Get ready to sparkle! Join us for a hands-on, creative beading workshop where you’ll craft your very own glass beaded necklace or phone charm—perfect for gifting or keeping as a personal treasure.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed for ages 9+ and comes with all materials and expert instruction included. You’ll have the chance to choose from a variety of colors and beads to create a truly one-of-a-kind accessory. For phone charms, acrylic beads are available as an alternative to glass.

• Your chosen project: Necklace or phone charm (select at ticket purchase). 
• All materials & instruction: No experience needed—just bring your creativity. An assortment of packaged beads will be available to choose from. Some beads will differ than pictured which allows you to create your own one of a kind piece!

Important Timing Info:

• Phone Charm Instruction: 2:00 PM – starts promptly
• Necklace Instruction: 2:15 PM – arrive at 2:00 PM to browse beads and get settled

This schedule ensures both groups get focused, step-by-step guidance so everyone walks away with something beautiful.

About Beads by Terry: Terry & Savanna – a mother-daughter duo behind Beads by Terry. We’ve turned our passion for crafting into a small business, creating everything from crystal stone bracelets to keychains, phone charms, bag charms, our popular "make your own pen" station, and more! A portion of our annual sales is donated in honour of our loved one to Oncology families at BC Children’s Hospital, helping bring cheer during the Christmas season.

❓ Workshop FAQ

Can I change my project on the day of the class?
Yes, however, limited options may be available to switch projects. Please also note the instruction timing.

Can friends/family attend together if they choose different projects?
Absolutely! You can attend together even if one is making a necklace and the other a phone charm. The phone charm instruction begins first, and while waiting for the necklace session to start, you’re welcome to pick out your beads or relax and enjoy the space.

Where is the class located?
Inside the Ag-Rec Centre in "The Gallery" on the second floor. The class is accessible via elevator or stairs. 

How do I check in?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early and show your digital or printed ticket at check-in and provide you with a wristband to gain access to the rest of the very merry mango market event.

Are tickets refundable?
All sales are final and non-refundable, but tickets can be gifted to another participant. If for some reason the class has to be cancelled, you will be issued a refund.

Do I need to bring anything?
Everything is provided — just bring your creativity and holiday spirit!

Does my ticket include market admission?
Yes! Your ticket includes admission to the Very Merry Mango Market for the day.
